I wanted to be SO many different things - a marine biologist, a cartoon animator, an opera singer, and a radio DJ, just to name a few. LOL
Hm - no, I don't think I sold out. I'm happy with how my life has progressed. I'm editing, which I love to do. I'm writing, which I also love to do. And now that I graduated, I might try to teach. :D

I can't remember if I thought or said what I wanted to be as a kid. I know I didn't sell out.
